The Women Missionary Union (W.M.U) constitutes the Baptist Women Society, The Girls Auxiliary, The Lydia Auxiliary and Sunbeam Band. The purpose of W.M.U of Nigeria is to build lives that will emulate the spirit of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and promote Christian missions through women organizations and fundamentals at home, church and the society at Large.

The aims and objectives of the B.W.M.U includes prayer, Bible and Mission study, Stewardship and service as well as Evangelism and mission. The wise woman builds her house, but with her own hands the foolish one tears hers down Proverbs 14:1
